Pat McDougall is a piano player, singer and songwriter with an outstanding prestige. He has been musical director in the bands of Tony Coleman who, for years, was drummer on B.B. King’s orchestra, and Rae Gordon Band as well. He is also a member of Bill Rhoades’ group, The Party Kings, and he extensively tours with them. Pat also leads his own band Tall Static, which backs him on this album with Whit Draper on guitar, Jim Solberg on bass and Ed Pierce on drums. Pat McDougall has composed for television, putting music to theater productions, films, jingles… etc. Now he is a really requested musician not only in USA but also in Canada.

Pat now publishes his first solo album that presents a collection of thirteen own compositions where he combines a good bunch of styles ranging from blues, to rock, Americana music, swamp blues, pop ballads and even balsamic soul.

The album has been produced by McDougall himself together with excellent drummer Jimi Bott who collaborates playing on a song. Other first-class guests who also participate in the recording are Kid Andersen, Alan Hager, Kara Grainger, Lisa Man, Lloyd Jones or Ben Rice among others.

A really attractive cd to be listened with enthusiasm because, each of the album songs make evident we are facing one of the most interesting singers, instrumentalists and composers of the actual American music.
