After many years of sharing stage with Fede Aguado, Osi Martínez has now started a new adventure by leading his own band Osi & Los Osidados Together with Txus Blues & Jose Bluefingers duo, Fede and Osi have been the top ones of blues sung in Spanish that, although sometimes sounds a little bit strange to the ear, it allows us to understand and savor the charm of lyrics that sometimes are filled with an acute sense of humor and other times become raw and sad as real life is Together with the excellent work of Javi Suárez on guitar and a teamed rhythm section with Javier Fernández on bass and flamenco guitar and Luis Maldonado on drums that, in the album, are reinforced by a horn section with Enrique Monleón on trombone, Pepe Moreno on alto sax and Manolo Morales on trumpet, Osi Martinez’s remarkable harmonica and his debut as a singer, give life to ten interesting songs that mostly follow classic blues path, firmly built and carefully recorded, that will let you appreciate the band qualities I dare say that if they polish some few details like giving a little more feeling to their performing and get more experience in Osi’s singing he surely will get quite soon, Osi & Los Osidados are called to reach better and really interesting goals in the Spanish blues scene
