We do not receive many albums that show the actual French blues rock scene. This time we can introduce One Rusty Band, an electric duo which sounds like a band, formed by Greg, a one-man band, who sings, plays guitar, bass, foot drum and harmonica and Léa, a tap dancer and circus artist, who plays washboard, percussion and backing vocals. Both form an unusual duo which, in their live performances, display a show where, besides playing, Léa delights us with her tap dance numbers and circus acrobatics that always surprise the audience.

The album presents twelve songs with 70’s guitar influences, together with Greg’s broken raw voice and a powerful rhythm that sometimes could remind Jimi Hendrix, although they also play homemade instruments such as cigar box guitar.

Although this album let us clearly see the potential of this energetic duo, it is in their live performances where people can see the explosive strength, energy and brightness of these two fantastic and atypical performers. If you know they are booked to play in your area, do not hesitate to go to their show.
