Basically it is Jimmy Reed’s music which inspired this record, performed by two icons of actual blues, singer and guitar player Omar Kent Dykes and respected worshipped Jimmie Vaughan Both musicians have done a perfect album with an amazing feeling and a very effective performing development with a tasteful song selection Another relevant thing is the list of musicians included to collaborate with them Wes Starr on drums (who does a faultless beat), Roonie James on bass, who does the perfect ‘walking bass’ to keep the climax in every song he plays No words to define Derek O’Brian work, his rhythm guitar is the perfect example of blues background Gary Clark Jr does a good singing and guitar playing on Baby, What’s Wrong And what can be said about the harmonica players? Kim Wilson, James Cotton, Gary Primich and Delbert McClinton (who also sings on Hush, Hush) are totally superb The list of guest musicians finishes with Lou Ann Burton on vocals, drummers Jay Moeller (now with The Fabulous Thunderbirds), Jake Dykes and George Rains and finally Barry Bhim on bass complete and sign a cool excellent record with a huge musical stylistic value
