Nora Jean Wallace, formerly known as Nora Jean Bruso, is a fabulous blues singer, with a stunning voice and a good tone. Nora always gives all her soul and love in her performing and she passionately puts the best of herself in every one of the cuts. Jean smoothly communicates many intense feelings to every listener, always backed by a bright, able highly professional musicians, all them led by guitarist, singer, keyboardist and occasional bass player Little Bobby who, along with Nora, have written ten of the eleven songs included in this excellent well displayed “Good Blues”. The rest of the musicians involved in the album are Mike Velasquez drums, Mike Axvig bass, Mike Jenkins piano, Hammind B-3 and electric Fender Rhodes piano and Rod Bondig guitar. In short words, it is a powerful, intense colorful cd with cool, spontaneous, songs, tasteful and brightly performed.
