    Valoración: VERY GOOD

Nico Wayne Toussaint is a harmonica virtuoso and a master of the most contemporary sounds, who deeply loves blues since he was a very young man In this cd he brings us his most warm intimate side, together with the also French guitar player Michel Foizon Both musicians drive us to a suggestive trip along twelve songs firmly rooted into rural blues tradition and a songster repertoire in the path of folksinger Leadbelly, whom they pay homage including his song Alberta Except this song and St James Infirmary credited as a traditional one but the true thing is it was composed by Bob Robinson, member of the Hokum Boys, which recorded it in October 1929, the other cd songs are Nico’s own compositions he has written with some collaboration of his partner Michael The album starts with a terrific intensity that, little by little, diminishes a bit Anyway it deserves a good consideration among fans and a calm listening that will make you deeply enjoy it
