Steve Porter is a drummer and composer who earned his living as a sound studio technician He also played with his band and, in his spare time, he wrote songs In year 2006 Steve decided time had come for his songs to see the light To do his first recording he surrounded himself by a handful of good musicians and friends who helped him to bring his project come true Steve has always been a restless active man who never stops to work in all the things he loves Nowadays he and his band The Nice As Pie, have managed to have his own recording studio in Copenhagen, as well as his own indie record label Of course the studio and the label are managed and directed by Steve Porter himself who even finds time to write, compose, produce, mix and mastering all songs Porter also hosts a radio show entitled ‘Steve Porter Show’ for the KCOR in Kansas City, USA For this last work, The Nice As Pie have selected sixteen varied songs where they combine different styles like drivin’ rock, contemporary blues, some ballads and alternative music, showing their experience and skill to make all these genres available for the audience, also managing to get that all these so varied songs that cover such different styles, flavours and musical colours have all a good quality
