After the excellent album Where I Come From recorded in 2009, now comes this new record that is not left behind the previous one If you like folk-rock, southern rock, psychedelia, rock-blues, Americana and other related styles by groups like Hot Tuna, Grateful Dead and Jefferson Airplane, then this cd will surely delight you, because you will find some names coming from the golden age of flower power 17 Pine Avenue gathers twelve songs, seven written by David Nelson, who plays guitar and sings The lyrics come from Robert Hunter who also wrote lyrics for Grateful Dead You will also find two other amazing songs Just The Way It Goes and Truth Is Dead written by second guitar and band singer Michael Falzarano, a former Hot Tuna member The band also has the valuable contribution of excellent keyboard player Professor Louie, who plays Hammond organ and the accordion in six of the twelve cd songs The other musicians are Buddy Cage, pedal steel, Ronnie Penque bass and voice and Johnny Markowski, drums and vocals Vocals have a prominent importance in this album and the atmosphere, the magic and the good feelings created along the whole cd, are totally priceless
