It is a real satisfaction to enjoy this duo of deluxe artists with the cd I have on my hands that is really a delicious one. Both musicians have a great sensibility, passion, knowledge and devotion for what they are doing. Nathan and Ben are expert on Delta and Piedmont blues and they perform with the good taste and mastery only great artist have. You will find on the cd different musical influences from Sleepy John Estes to Brownie McGhee, Big Bill Broonzy or Blind Boy Fuller, plus some original own compositions. Sixteen roots blues masterpieces performed with sensibility and great respect. Nathan James plays guitars and foot rhythms while Ben Hernández is on harmonicas and kazoos. You will find as guest musician great piano player Gene Taylor on two amazing urban blues style which was played in the thirties, that follow the path of Leroy Carr or Little Brother Montgomery. A cd that deserves a place in your record collection and cannot be left out.
