Formed in Barcelona in 2015, the band gathers musicians coming from different countries The group was born as a tribute to the bluesmen which have most influenced them After some time running in together, they have managed to get their own sound that, firmly based on 50’s and 60’s blues, also includes different elements of gospel or swing This last recording brings us twelve cuts, most of them versions, all with a personal touch the band gets from their own arrangements, and the stamp of a few own compositions Led by Brian O’Mahony, who does a remarkable vocal work as well as playing a reliable guitar and a little bit of harmonica, the other band musicians are Stéphane Jais on keyboards, Dara Luskin on bass and Xavi Tomas on drums, musicians who are on a par with the leader, forming a solid greasy engine The recording also includes Pedro Vera on tenor sax and Lenin Jimenez Paiva on percussion in some tracks In short words, an honest interesting album performed by a group of musicians who know the music they play and carry it out with conviction and respect
