Mojo Minefield is a trio coming from southern Ontario, whose main feature is to perform with reliability a mixture of psychedelic rock with touches of garage, blues and Americana, all of them with a distinctive sound that reminds those legendary late 60’s and 70’s bands.

The group is led by singer and guitar player Tyler Fry, who was hardened as a musician by kicking all the clubs, bars and venues of Ontario area, besides to regularly participating in countless blues jams led by veteran musicians. In his own words, his influences can be found in bands like Black Keys or Radio Moscow. Listening to those musicians, Tyler decided this kind of music was what he wanted to play and to do so he recruited two performers like Scott Carere on bass and Ethan Meyers, well-known as “Big Geno”, on drums. They did their first gig in Mississippi in 2018 at a show in memory of local bluesman Mel Brown. From that moment on, the band has carried on a fruitful career, performing around the southern USA.

Ten high-voltage songs give shape to the album, all of them including an outpouring of spectacular grooves, incendiary guitar solos, hurtful and emotional lyrics and a powerful sound that will certainly catch most listeners, thanks to the performing strength of these three committed musicians.
