For twelve years Mitch Woods has led the after hours sessions that take place at the piano bar of the legendary Rhythm and Blues Cruise What started as an occasional show, soon became a regular tradition where all the participant musicians in this well-known and fabulous Caribbean blues cruise, come after their shows to have a drink to finish playing in these traditional jam sessions hosted and coordinated by the excellent singer and piano player Mitch Woods In this album Mitch’s aim has been to capture all the essence and the spirit of these incredible sessions that can be enjoyed until the wee wee hours, where the joy and festive atmosphere prevents people to go to sleep until sunrise Mitch Woods feels happy to have counted in this album with the priceless collaboration of great musicians and long time cruise friends like Tommy Castro, Lucky Peterson, Billy Branch, Coco Montoya, Poppa Chubby, Victor Wainwright, Dwayne Dopsie and some members of The Roomful Of Blues It is a real pleasure to listen and enjoy with each participant musician along the seventeen songs that have been included in this album Honestly I can only say this is a superb first class blues recording Do not miss it
