A reissue of an old LP, originally recorded for independent label Spitfire in Los Angeles Pacifica studios, unavailable and for many years out of stock, by one of the biggest eighties southern California rock blues bands The Pontiax came from Santa Barbara, and were led by great singer and harmonica player Mitch Kashmar The reissue of this stunning album by Delta Groove, comes to fill the gap the band left when they broke up many years ago The Pontiax have been an important part of the history of those area blues bands and musicians, like were The Mighty Flyers, Gary Smith Blues Band, Charles Ford Blues Band, Hi Tide Harris, William Clarke (who performs in the album too), Charlie Musselwhite, Luther Tucker or the Hollywood Fats Band Kim Wilson used to see them playing at Antone’s Club and he said they were one of his favourite bands Mitch Kashmar recruited again his old musicians to record a couple of new songs that complete the album and round up a bright, energetic dynamic record with an enviable actual sound
