With this third Delta Groove cd, ends this amazing trilogy Delta Groove has hit the nail on the head with these three almost perfect high quality cds Mitch Kashmar is a singer and harmonica player who performs real fifties Chicago blues and West Coast sound with huge knowledge, great respect for blues tradition and a very cool musical style He is backed by such great musicians like Jr Watson on guitar, Richard Innes on drums, Rob Welsh on piano and Ronnie James Weber on bass Mitch harp technique is really delightful, totally unaffected without predictable resources and he goes to the bottom with an straight effective style and a deep fat tone he pulls out his Astatic mic and Fender amp quite similar to Little Walter style And besides you will find some excellent guest musicians like Arthur Adams on vocals and guitar or Abu ‘Freddy Robinson’ Talib on vocals and guitar too A cd with that does not have a single back track on it and gives us a lot of things to savour and enjoy in these days that prevailing things are ‘modernity’, ‘fashion’ or ‘business’
