This album and the next one are pretty much the same ones and both belong to singer, guitar player and songwriter Mitch Grainger. After his last album entitled “The Blues” and released in 2015, Mitch decided to record with his band in electric format some single songs to start working on his next project. At the end of 2020 and with some cuts already recorded, Grainger thought it would be a good idea to record the same songs again but, this time, in acoustic format only with his voice, guitar and harmonica to accompany the electric ones. He soon realized the acoustic songs were in more demand than the electric ones and that is where the idea for these two albums came from.

“Plug It In” is the title of the electric one and includes eleven tracks with Mitch Grainger on vocals, guitars and harmonica, Arlan Schierbam on keyboards, Ed Maxwell on bass and finally Deacon Marrquin on drums. The songs arrangements drive us to dusty roadhouse blues spiced with Americana and rock, wrapping listeners in that warm atmosphere of rough primitive blues that will catch people in each and every one of the record songs.
