Singer Gina Coleman and her band Misty Blues are now celebrating their twenty years in music Over the years they have shared stage and musical experiences with Charles Neville, as well as opening for artists like Tab Benoit, John Primer and Albert Cummings among others Finalists in 2019 International Blues Challenge, they now present an eleven songs recording, where the blues is brightened up with subtle jazzy touches, some funk, a little bit of soul and even a few doses of gospel Gifted with a deep fat vocal tone that gives her a warm personality, Gina Coleman presents a selection of songs that evoke beautiful landscapes full of passionate colors and nuances Besides singing, in the album Gina also plays cigar-box guitar, bass and an African percussion instrument named guiro and has written nine of the eleven album songs She is perfectly backed by Bill Patriquin on bass, trumpet and vocals, Seth Fleischmann on guitar and vocals, Benny Kohn on keyboards and vocals, Aaron Dean on sax and flute and Rob Tatten on drums, trombone and vocals, with the special collaboration of guest musicians Diego Mongue on bass and drums and Wes Buckley on guitar
