After a period of silence Mississippi Heat, the band of harmonica player Pierre Lacocque, hits again the recording market with an impressive album that shows the band commitment, powerful strength, deep passion and undeniable quality.

Recorded at the prestigious V.S.O.P. studios in Chicago and co-produced by Pierre Lacocque and Michael Freeman, this last one Chair at The Blues Foundation board of directors, the album features twelve songs, nine Pierre’s own compositions, two coming from Michael Dotson and one written by singer Inetta Visor.

As usual Lacocque displays a deluxe sound with a rich phrasing and an intense overwhelming sound that will delight all fans and lovers of this small and tiny but, at the same time, big in sound instrument as is harmonica, also surrounded by a bunch of high level singers like Inetta Visor, Daneshia Hamilton, Lurrie Bell, Carl Weathersby and Michael Dotson, the three last ones on guitar too, together with the rest of band members like Kenny Smith, Johnny Iguana, Marc Franklin or Kirk Smothers, among others, all them creative and powerful.

An impressive high-class Chicago blues recording coming from amazing musicians who know and develop the music they play with an intense feeling, as they get and feel the blues from the depths of their souls.
