Pure and genuine Chicago blues performed by a powerful flaming grooving band, with such great names on it as Barrelhouse Chuck on piano or Pierre Lacoque on harmonica These musicians really know what they are doing so you will immediately realize they feel at easy playing south side Chicago blues Mississippi Heat also has a powerful burning sound and for this special time, the band is surrounded by different Chicago blues scene artists such as Billy Boy Arnold on harmonica and vocals, Zora Young or the former and splendid Sons of the Blues’ guitar player, Carl Weathersby Although he can be considered a good example of a Chicagoan musician, Pierre Lacoque, the band’s leader, always tries to find a new modern sound that gives an original flavour to the music the group plays The band has been successfully playing around USA and Europe and this cd (I think their fifth one) is the gift they give us in the band’s tenth anniversary
