Four of the best Spanish blues musicians like Mingo Balaguer, Pablo Sanpa, Sergio Barez and his brother Pablo Barez, have started a new project Now they give this new album to all blues lovers where jump and Chicago blues come together in an excellent recording, thanks to the good work thay have done along the whole cd Mingo Balaguer is one of the greatest and legendary names of Spanish blues scene with more than thirty years of experience on his back He is a great harmonica player gifted with an amazing sound and a lot of feeling On the other hand, Paul Sanpa is one of the most elegant actual guitar players with an enormous potential and a great future ahead The Barez brothers on bass and drums sound totally teamed and give the best support to let the two soloists develop all their creativity on harmonica and guitar If we add the magnificent collaboration of Julián Maeso on Hammond and Lluis Coloma on piano, both in some cuts, the result is completely appetizing and pleasant This is an album specially devoted to those who like to savour the most classic and orthodox electric blues that will surely delight them, although, in my humble opinion, Mingo is a much better harmonica player than singer
