Two times nominated for Grammy Awards, singer and sax player Mindi Abair knows how to conquer the audience with a powerful, engaging and full of dynamism show, as well as her electrifying mastery in sax, whether it is alto, tenor or baritone No one after Junior Walker had managed to combine so well sax and voice and do it in such a brilliant exciting way as she does Since the release of her first recording in 2000, Mindi has not stopped of doing tours with her band and share stage with artists like Aerosmith, Joe Bonamassa, Greg Allman, Bobby Rush, Keb’ Mo’ or Booker T Jones among many others Mindi Abair’s sax and voice lead her band, The Boneshakers, with Randy Jacobs on guitar and vocals, Rodney Lee on keyboards, Ben White on bass and vocals and Third Richardson on drums and vocals For this last project the group has decided to prepare nine songs all of them related to Christmas, but letting aside much of the romantic sweetness of Christmas, and providing in its place some rocking air that, most of the time, move away from the musical idea we have on mind for those dates and drive us into a universe of interpretative strength and musical force
