Gulf Coast Records proudly presents an excellent album by singer and guitar player Mike Zito, which has been produced by Joe Bonamassa and Josh Smith, something that guarantees its quality. The recording communicates tons of passion, intensity and a deep feeling since as, not in vain, Mike and his wife Laura who recently suffered a cancer and sadly passed away, had decided that, when she died, Mike would totally devote himself to music. Both producers and all the musicians involved were aware it was his first work after Laura’s death, so they all put the deepest emotion into the music they performed, something that can be felt in each one of the album songs.

Mike is proud of this recording his wife would really have loved so much. He has included twelve songs, three own compositions and the rest belonging to artists like Litte Milton, Stevie Wonder, Tab Benoit, Tinsley Ellis, Walter Trout or Reverend Gary Davis among others.

After his previous work he recorded with Albert Castiglia, it seemed difficult to keep the same level. But, once again, Mike Zito has managed to round up a magnificent album, surrounded by impressive musicians like Joe Bonamassa and Josh Smith on guitars, Reese Wynans, on keyboards, Calvin Turner on bass, Lemar Carter on drums and the special collaborations of Paulie Cerra on sax, Jennifer Kuma and Anna Spina on horns and the backing vocals of Jade Macae, Dannielle Dandrea and Steve Ray Ladson.
