About seventeen years ago, legendary British blues producer Mike Vernon decided to settle for his retirement in the peaceful beautiful landscapes of Malaga countryside His first idea was to live there, far away of music business hustle and bustle, but Mike is a restless man and his mind is always full of new projects, so soon he got in touch with local Andalusian blues musicians like Mingo Balaguer, Quique Bonal, Kid Carlos, Antonio Blanco… Looking for new challenges, in year 2014 he began to sing with the group Los García, recording his first solo album entitled Just A Little Bit As a result he had the idea of starting a tour in Spain and United Kingdom This led him to form The Mighty Combo With them he has recorded this mini-CD entitled A Little Bit More which includes six songs, two versions and four own compositions he has done together with Quique Bonal and Carlos Moreno The band includes Mike Vernon on vocals and percussion, Kid Carlos and Gaby Robledo on guitars, Andrea Salvadori on piano and organ, Antonio Blanco on bass and Stefano Di Rubbo on drums The final result is a vigorous intense album, with a music language that can be fully identified with black Chicago blues
