Only aged fifteen, Mike Guldin had his first guitar on hands. From then on Mike began to play, developing a more than fruitful career with countless shows in clubs, bars, cafes, theaters and festivals.

Deeply influenced by post-war blues great masters like Muddy Waters, Howlin’ Wolf, Albert Collins or Willie Dixon, he also gathers influences from Allman Brothers, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan or even the Rolling Stones, without forgetting the most popular rhythm and blues and soul stars. Together with his band, The Tumblers, they have two times reached the final at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis.

For this album Mike has written fifteen amazing songs, plus two versions, “She Caught The Katy” coming from James A. Rachell and Taj Mahal and “Key To The Highway” by Big Bill Broonzy and Jazz Gillum. All the songs carry on the most genuine blues, showing the good work of Mike Guldin and his group, together with spicy touches of soul, rock and country.

The album has been recorded in seven different studios, including Mike’s band and other guests, forming a total line-up of over a dozen musicians who develop an impressive work, developed with professionalism, passion and commitment.
