The terrific strength of this blues trio will be immediately noticed They are greatly appreciated along East Coast blues scene, especially in New York area, where they have settled down Mike is a tasteful guitar player and for this third cd, he has composed almost all songs, except Nickleplated, an old Freddy King’s instrumental and James Cotton’s Ain’t Doin’ Too Bad’ Apart from Mudhole Blues -an splendid tribute to Roy Buchanan that drives us back to the sevienties- the rest of the album becomes a good sample of the ‘rust belt blues’ the band plays Also some great musicians have collaborated with them along this recording
