Here comes a band coming from the north of Ireland, which mainly bases his music on blues, without forgetting some other rock concepts too For more than two years the group has been playing around Belfast pubs and clubs, always getting a great acceptance by audiences which have listened to them Gerry Anderson of BBC radio in Ulster said they were the Irish band with the best live sound he had ever heard in his life That iis the reason why I believe the bands does not need any other introduction and now they only need you believe in them and pick up a cd copy The Mighty Mojos include Alan Ward vocals and harmonica, a guy with a dynamic, rough rocky voice deeply influenced by Muddy Waters and Sonny Boy Williamson David McClean is on guitar and slide and he is a musician gifted with a great creativity and a very classic sound, a mixture of Rory Gallagher, Wilko Johnson and Muddy Waters Ali McKenzie is a bass player with a great expressiveness He is also an unconditional fan of Led Zeppelin, Little Feat and Lynard Skynard Finally powerful and strong drummer Davy Kennedy has played on several occasions with Van Morrison’s Them along all Ireland rock circuits In short words, this is a really attractive and very well teamed album
