From cold Norway come this original trio which, altough they do their music without drums, they are not an usual acoustic blues group Their proposal is a mixture of rock and roll, ballad and British blues, in the path of the last fifties bands such as Cliff Richard and other skiffle groups of that generation Mighty Marith & The MeanMen are Marith Endressen, who sings with a powerful strong voice full of an intense climax and a remarkable conviction, Trend Hansen on bass, ‘tamboots’ and backing vocals and Hans Isaksen on guitar, lap-steel guitar an backing vocals in some tracks The unique style they tasteful and cleverly combine, has a peculiar sound which make them different and very attractive artists All songs have an original very effective atmosphere that will immediately catch the interest of listeners who have a minimum interest and sensibility for high quality music
