Mick Kolassa is a prolific musician who always surprises listeners with his new albums. This time Mike invites us to a musical journey that covers various styles like blues, jazz, calypso, reggae and even some American standards. In all these styles Kolassa shows he is a musician gifted for composition, besides tastefully singing and playing guitar, creating an intimate atmosphere during the whole recording.

This album gathers ten original songs and two versions “Feeling Alright” and “As Time Goes By”. Among all the good chosen songs, only mention “Running To You”, a great blues which opens the album. “Elegant Angel” cleverly combines jazz and blues with an amazing work of Memphis guitar player Mario Monterosso. Also highlight “Run Away With Me” where Kolassa talks about wishes we would like to become real but many times never come true.
