This is a posthumous album by Michael Packer, who passed away in May 2017 Michael was a blues heavyweight He was singer, guitar player and composer and, during the last stage of his life, he was also alcoholic, drug addict, convicted and a homeless in New York streets However his soul was full of an enormous devotion for music and art, which always guided and made him be an honest man, virtues he kept until his death, leaving us a beautiful legacy of touching songs, that unconsciously remain in the minds of all those of us who have listened to them Michael was always a dreamer who believed in the power of blues During his good years he was well loved, admired and respected by the majority of the blues community When life was leaving him, he wanted to give us these recordings, where you will notice his bad health condition but where he never looses his composure, his honesty and the relaxed atmosphere he develops in his musical speech, that flows with elegance along the seven album cuts and in the explanations he gives us before each song
