Michael Burks is a sly old fox in blues His grand father played delta blues and his father played bass with legendary Sonny Boy Williamson With these great influences you can easily imagine that Burks is not a beginner in blues music This cd faithfully represents the kind of music he nightly offers in all different clubs he is booked We are facing a very professional musician who gives us a very positive result of what he normally does on stage Technically speaking he is greatly influenced by Albert King He is building himself a good reputation among blues circles around his country I can say that Michael Burks will touch you deep in your heart
