After recording her first EP and competing at the International Blues Challenge 2019, many doors have opened to singer and guitar player Meg Williams Well known along Nashville, Tennessee area, where she now lives, Meg has recently signed for Nola Blue Records and she has now released this album for them Often compared to Susan Tedeschi or Bonnie Raitt, Meg attacks the repertoire with strength and energy, cleverly combining a good dose of rockin’ soul with the most exuberant and compact rhythm and blues one can imagine, all spiced with some drops of blues The album was recorded at FAME studios in Muscle Shoals, Alabama and includes twelve high quality original songs, where Meg’s delightful voice and guitar playing have the perfect counterpoint and extra bonus of the excellent feature of Will McFarlane and Dan Wecht in guitars and slide, Clayton Ivey and Brad Kuhn on organ, Bob Wray on bass, Justin Holder on drums and Sarah Rogers on backing vocals A good choice of Nola Blue to bet on Meg Williams because, without fear to make a mistake, one can say she will get a place among the great actual female singers and guitar players
