Experts and deep followers of Chicago blues, from Alicante Medicine Man present this new recording where one will immediately realize they know all the secrets of Windy City blues. For about twenty years Medicine Man has been the Alicante reference band and, together with the Blues Society of Alicante, they do the praiseworthy mission of keeping the blues flame alive in that area.

After backing amazing harmonica player Billy Branch on his last Spanish tour, now we can listen to them thanks to this new album that gathers eight own compositions written by his leader, singer, guitar player and occasional keyboardist Víctor Jordá, all them inspired by the most orthodox blues without forgetting to give to all songs a very actual sound. Together with Víctor you will also find Juanjo “Little Fonsi” on harmonica, Rafa Navas on bass and Nelson Deleón on drums, all them good instrumentalists who know perfectly what they want to do.

Jordá’s elegant good work on guitar together with the well teamed sound, technique and good harmony between all band members, give as a result a more than interesting album really pleasant to listen to. The blues in Alicante is in good hands with Medicine Man.
