From Denmark comes this album performed by a real story teller. His name is Max Wolff, an artist who, for about three decades, has devoted himself to travel, carrying his songs to every corner, which has enabled him to count with a faithful audience which loves to listen with reverence to the music he plays.

Max discovered the blues when he was a young man, so he started to practice listening to the old bluesmen, but also to the legendary 60’s and 70’s guitar players. Now he has created a personal style deeply rooted in traditional music, which has allowed him to write his own songs and perform them both acoustic and electric, besides developing fingerpickin’ style with and expertise technique and tastefully modulating his vocal qualities.

For this album Max has chosen eleven own compositions, seven of them instrumentals, where blues mixes with jazz, folk or world music, all of them performed acoustic, which makes listener be immediately caught with Max’ intimistic music. The recording includes some of his repertoire favorite songs he displays with the special collaboration of Peter Friis on double bass, Niels Ulbrandt on piano, keyboards and mellotrone, Lars Pedersen on drums and Bo Johansen and Mikkel Uttrup on percussion.
