Matt Lomeo got his first harmonica at nine. He soon began to sing and play harmonica in different bands together with his older brother Adam who played guitar. Only aged ten, he was the youngest artist to participate at Woodstock Festival in 1999. Encouraged by artists like Little Charlie And The Nightcats or Sugar Blue, the two brothers followed on with their music career, playing in prestigious clubs like the Handy in Beale Street, Memphis.

Now Matt develops his career with total freedom in Los Angeles and Southern California area, and has just released his debut album where he shows his harmonica playing full potential, with influences that come from Junior Wells or George “Harmonica” Smith while, as a singer, he moves among Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, Marvin Gaye or Johnnie Taylor among other shining stars.

An album that presents thirteen fine and elegant songs developed with a remarkable skill, displayed with a rocky lyricism, sometimes sweety, sometimes rocking but always full of an appealing taste. The band includes Matt Lomeo on vocals and harmonica, Billy Watts on guitar, Terry Wilson on bass and James Cruce on drums and percussion, plus a group of guest musicians, some of them coming from Eric Burdon’s, J.J. Cale’s and Theresa James & The Rhythm Tramps’ bands.
