A group of twelve Canadian musicians from different generations have recently joined up, under the wise and solid leadership of piano player and producer Lance Anderson, to form a new band with the name of Matchedash Parish, a really interesting varied project which in recent months has hit both blues and roots music scene Now they release their first album that becomes a relaxed funny and joyful party, with blues, roots music and soul as the main dishes The recording gathers eleven original compositions written by just mentioned Lance Anderson and singer and piano player Matt Weidinger Thanks to Anderson’s tenacity who has always believed in the project, this interesting band is gradually becoming one of the most recognized and appreciated of the Canadian music scene, not in vain and, despite coming from diverse musical fields, all musicians involved in the band, share and put in common their knowledge, love and passion for the music they give us
