With a long career behind him and eight albums released, guitar player and composer, Víctor Aneiros comes from Galicia (Spain) with an undeniable experience and professionalism, which makes him to be now considered as a reference name of blues made in Spain.

For some time on, he has been leading a new project with singer Paula Martins he started a fruitful collaboration in 2008. The project has crystallized with the publication of this new album where, besides Paula Martins on vocals and Víctor Aneiros on guitar, you will also find Fran Rey on keyboards, Víctor Gacio and Alejandro Masafret on bass and Marcos Sánchez on drums.

The recording gathers ten songs, five Aneiros’ and Martins’ own compositions, and the other five careful versions of songs like “I Can’t Do That” coming from Mike Wheeler they perform with a funk touch, “Blues Is My Business” by Kevin Bowe / Todd Cherney, popularized by Etta James, where Paula shows most of her vocal skills, “Hey Bartender” by Floyd Dixon, “Knock On Wood” by Steve Cropper/Eddie Floy and “Don’t Put Your Hands On Me” by Rick Estrin that ends the album.

A declaration of intents by these two excellent musicians who invite us to an attractive journey through the paths of blues, rock, soul or funk, developed with a very personal stamp.
