The source of musicians who rely on traditional and accoustic blues is wide and varied, especially in the original country, United States Of course there are good, not so good and bad ones, and Marshall Lawrence belongs to the first ones This man is internationally known as the ‘Doctor of the Blues’ by the skills he has to perform surgery in his listeners’ bodies with his voice and guitar, instead using surgical instruments Mr Lawrence gives us thirteen songs in this new cd, eleven original ones, plus a traditional song, Death’s Black Train and another one by Tommy Johnson Marshall sings and plays all guitars, as well as mandolin, tambourine and percussion He is surroundes by Dave ‘Hurricane’ Hoerl on harmonica, Russell Jackson on double bass and The Holmes Brothers who add vocal harmonies in the track Factory Closing Blues, as well as Barry Allen, which supports with his voice the song Death’s Black Train An interesting, unique and entertaining album, i’m sure will help you to make your life a little more joyful and peaceful
