Excellent artist and composer of roots Americana music, where the spirit of blues is subtly present in the majority of his eclectic compositions Mark shows in this new work all his witty bright talent as singer, guitar player and writer, developing this last facet with a natural firm ability Twelve semi acoustic songs, with calm loose tempos, on an attractive repertoire on both content and layout, all wrapped with a suggestive ethereal atmosphere Mark is backed by Debra Dobkin on drums and percussion and Nick Kirgo on guitars The trio is supported by other musicians: David Fraser on keyboards, harmonica, accordion and vocals, James Gadson on drums (with brushes), Jay Dee Maness on pedal steel, Terry Evans on vocals, Barry Goldberg on Wurlitzer piano, Darrell Leonard and Joe Sublett on horns, Mike Thompson on trombone, Teresa James, Billy Watts, Greg Prestopino and Lauren Adams on vocals
