Brazilian singer and guitar player Mario Rossi presents his third album that confirms Mario feels the blues from the depths of his soul. Rossi discovered the blues when, in 2013 and 2015, he was booked to back John Primer for a tour all over Brazil.

Since that moment on, Mario has exclusively devoted himself to play blues, developing a sound and a personal style based on rock-blues, which has led him to become one of the most appreciated and valued guitar players not only in Brazil but also in USA where step by step he is gradually consolidating himself as one of the most promising blues and rock musicians.

The album gathers eight Rossi’s own compositions that become a clear example of the creative skills and the excellence Mario Rossi displays along an intense, powerful and totally vigorous repertoire, always respecting tradition, as well as paying homage to his masters and heroes.

Mario Rossi is on vocals and guitars, while Edê Boy plays keyboards, Marcelo Rocha is on bass and Rafael Cacavallo on drums. The recording also features some guests like Richard Fermino on trumpet, sax and trombone in three songs, Lu Vitti on vocals in the song “It Means Blues”, Carey Bell’s son Steve Bell in harmonica together with a gospel choir on “There’s No Hope For Willie Brown”.

A real surprise to have just discovered a more than interesting musician, I dare say he will pleasantly delight us in the next future.
