Marc Loy “UN(E)”

From France comes a musician, composer, singer and guitar player who for years has devoted himself to music, performing regularly in French cafes, clubs and venues, always getting a good reception by his followers. His name? Marc Loy.

This musician know well how to decorate his shows, thanks to his warm introspective voice and suggestive beautiful lyrics although, sometimes, they get a sad magnitude able to move most listeners, together with a sensual and intimate vocal tone. Marc Loy moves among neo-folk, some funk and an indie-rock with very particular bluesy influences.

For the eleven album songs, all them full of warm nuances with careful sound details, he is surrounded by good musicians like Niko Sarran on drums, Pierre Cordier on bass, Gille Fégeant on dobro and slide, Gilles Erhart on keyboards, Philippe Anieaux on trumpet, trombone and horn arrangements, Robin Capoano on trombone and Cora Line on backing vocals, plus a number of guests. Leading the whole sound engine Marc Loy who sings, plays guitar and composes all the songs that have been included in the album.
