    Valoración: GREAT

I was looking forward to seeing published the second piece of work of this great duo who have specialized themselves on a kind of blues that very few musicians now play Like his previous cd, this one clearly shows their passionate love for the ‘east coast’ sound Piedmont, Virginia, Georgia and both Carolinas styles are present on this cd Along the whole recording you will find lots of references to their favourite musicians Brownie McGee, Lonnie Johnson, Furry Lewis, Reverend Gary Davis, Blind Willie McTell or Brind Blake come to my mind when I listen to Chris Kleeman’s singing and guitar playing (he also has a depurated ‘finger pickin’ guitar technique) Singer and harmonica player Malkum Gibson gives homage to his great big influences like Sonny Boy Williamson, Jazz Gillum, and specially Sonny Terry The ‘covers’ they perform on this cd are treated with an extremely care and good taste which gives them an original mark that makes them to be different to other similar duos
