Singer Malaya Blue burst at the British music circuit in 2015, after the successful release of her first album “Bourbon Street”. Her stage presence, her passionate voice and indomitable display immediately call the attention of specialized media and the favor of public, which made her to be booked to in countless UK festivals. In 2016 she published her second album “Heartsick” where Paul Jones appeared as a guest, who became one of her greatest supporters. The album launched her internationally, introducing her to composer and producer Dennis Walter (Robert Cray, BB King, Bettye Lavette), starting a fruitful collaboration. In 2020 he released “Still” which was her debut album for Blue Heart Records.

Now she releases a new album for Blue Heart Records, in collaboration with composer and producer Dennis Walker. Unfortunately, he suddenly died, but he could still listen to the songs that would give shape to it.

Twelve songs ranging from the most sentimental and melancholic ballads to jazz, funk, rock and blues. Malaya Blue’s powerful and vibrant voice is well supported by renowned musicians like Brett Lucas (Bettye Lavette, Thornetta Davis, Jeremy Spencer) on electric and acoustic guitar, dobro and percussion, John McCullough (Van Morrison, Sinead O’Connor) on keyboards and Hammond B-3, Chris Rand on baritone and tenor sax, Richard Cousins (Robert Cray, John Lee Hooker, Etta James) on bass and Sam Kelly (Gary Moore, Chaka Khan) on drums and percussion.

A warm relaxing recording, that will bring peace and calm to your body and mind.
