With this new album Luca Giordano confirms the reason why he is now considered as one of the best Italian bluesmen who has exceed the border of Italian blues to be also recognized at an European level In this album Luca and his band give us nine original songs and two versions, one coming from Ivory Joe Hunter and another one by JW Williams In all tracks, singer and guitar player Luca Giordano cleverly and accurately mixes blues, jazz and funk in equal parts, with the perfect support of some musicians who perfectly understand his leader musical speech and they do it with an extreme care and good taste Besides a horn section with Sax Gordon tenor sax, Marc Earley baritone sax and Doug Woolverton trumpet plus the collaboration of drummer Fabio Colella in two songs, the rest of the band are Luca Giordano guitar and vocals, Fabrizio Ginoble to Hammond and piano, Walter Cerasani bass and Alessandro Svampa drums This is a more then recommendable album for contemporary blues lovers, where Luca shows the reason why his name has crossed the borders of his native Italy
