Low Society is a band which works both in Europe and in USA, spending half of the time in each continent This is his third studio album and has been recorded in Belgium and Memphis Led by singer Mandy Lemons and guitar player and producer Sturgis Nikides, the band is completed by Belgian musicians Jacky Verstraeten on bass and Bart De Brueker on drums You will also find guest musicians Rick Steff on piano, organ and accordion, Brian Hawkins on jaw harp and Will Danger and Andrew McCarthy as percussionists The band has put together ten songs on a clever tasteful way to complete a personal quite attractive recording where a variety of styles come together, all based on indie, rockabilly, blues, pop, garage rock or post beat music, cooked with mystery and magnetic ingredients and flavours Mandy Lemons and guitar player and producer Nikides Sturges are responsible of all compositions They have done a good work without getting out of the musical concepts they feel comfortable with Powerful, alternative, wild, dark… these are some of the adjectives that could better define Low Society music
