If I’m not wrong, It’s Fiesta Time! is the last album in Los Reyes del KO career, as Marcos Coll and Adrian Costa seem to have split up their musical partnership -whether temporarily or permanently- As this website is not dedicated to yellow or gossip press, we will stop here, but the true thing is this is a pity, because Los Reyes were probably the best or, at least, one of the best Spanish blues bands This album was recorded in Berlin and is the result of several years of research, playing and savoring blues and other related musical styles, including Tex-Mex, rockin’ calypso, soul, funk and even latin groove The cd includes what I would define as fifteen wonderful, delicious and right ‘smokin’ tunes’ They have also included different collaborations, which provide a cool charming atmosphere to a project that should never have been the last one, with Gary Wiggins on saxo, Dwayne Verheyden on accordion, Mattias Nilssonal on Hammond organ and fellows countrymen Antoni ‘Pax’ Alvarez on drums and ‘Lichis’ on vocals in Belleza de Barrio, a song written by Los Reyes del KO bass player, Javi Vacas A remarkable cd that could not miss in any blues fan discography
