The Penúltimos is not a common band Besides singing all lyrics in Spanish, they always try to give them a new dimension which reflects the exciting world where they live their music To do so they add various elements ranging from blues to rock, southern rhythms or even some pop musical structures coming from those characteristic songs of bands which belonged to the movida madrileña so in fashion in Spain during the eighties and early nineties The band includes Ernesto Ulibarri on vocals, harmonica, rhythm and slide guitar, Jorge Yañez on soloist, rhythm and 12 string guitars, Pablo Ulibarri on bass and Agustín Pilarte on drums We are facing a lively group which is gaining merits to survive into the great and enormous competition among different bands and musicians willing to get a piece of the cake The album becomes an atlas of different chromatic sounds with lyrics fulfilled of a good sense of humour
