Here comes a blues band from Bilbao with an orthodox reliable repertoire, mainly based on fifties south side Chicago blues They include songs coming from Willie Dixon, Jimmy Reed, Muddy Waters or Sonny Boy Williamson II among others The band is formed by Aritza Castro on drums, Fabián Acarregui on double bass, who give the appropriate support to make the soloists Carlos Jover on harmonica and Mario Gomez on guitar, dobro and vocals shine at a good level All the band musicians have stage presence, blues knowledge, good attitude, musical judgement, good taste and they also show an interesting clever technique to approach a repertory specially formed by yesterday, today and forevermore blues standards The album presents ten well delivered and perfectly developed songs, based in some good clichés, where harmonica and guitar solos combine on a pleasant juicy way, as every band musician gives the best of himself in his performance All of us know that both guitar and harmonica are important weapons to succeed in blues if they are good and tasteful played, so this time it can be said Carlos and Mario know how to properly and cleverly come out and match their musical speech
