Long Tall Deb and Colin John are a couple of music passionate fellows During their many travels in Europe, America, India or Nepal, they have always tried to accumulate many cultural influences but especially absorb most of the music of the countries they visit This is the reason why this new album becomes a mixture of styles, sounds and vivid colours covering blues, soul, rock, surf, spaghetti western, noir jazz, pop, Americana and world roots All these influences and sounds are completely integrated in a collection of eleven own compositions, with the exception of the song Lungs that comes from Townes Van Zandt The suggestive voice of singer Long Tall Dev precisely and tastefully combines with the one of her partner Colin Jones, who also plays both acoustic and electric guitars, as well as sitar, lap steel and occasionally bass and piano The recording also features a handful of guests who contribute to enhance the quality of this really special and exciting album
