This is the comeback of one of the legendary British white bluesmen who, together with John Mayall, Alexis Korner, Peter Green and many others, belonged to the sixties ‘British Blues’ generation Among the musicians who performed with him, let me only mention so legendary names as Jack Bruce, Jimmy Page, Rod Stewart, Elton John or Charlie Watts This cd was recorded last year 2000 during his last European tour (he now lives in Canada) The result is a real acoustic blues performed with his twelve strings acoustic guitar, only backed by Butch Coulder on harp and Mick Taylor as second guitar As usual, this is an interesting Long John Baldry’s piece of work
