The five musicians who form Lone Star Mojo have a long career of about fifty years and a big experience got in hundreds of gigs and thousands of kilometers on the road. Each of them comes from different bands, the majority related with blues, and they are also very good friends, besides having shared stage many times.

Because of Covid all of them had to cancel their respective projects and commitments. It was then when Joe Splawn had the brilliant idea to gather them  and propose them to record the album I have now on hands. They immediately accepted and in a short time they completed this project, recording fifteen songs all them coming from the band musicians, displayed in the Texas rock-blues tradition with influences ranging from ZZ Top to Frank Zappa or even B.B. King. With all these ingredients they have released a relevant, intense, danceable, energetic and pleasant album.

These seasoned and experienced musicians are Joe Splawn on Hammond B-3 and vocals, Mark Snyder on guitars and vocals, Scott Biggs also guitars and vocals, Tim Maloney on bass and vocals and Barry Sloan on drums.

Original, fresh and wild Texas blues developed with interesting arrangements the musicians feel extremely proud about, so they hope all listeners will enjoy it as they have done while they were recording it.
