The incomparable always vibrant Julio Lobos celebrated his thirty years of music, blues and on the road with his band Lone Rhino Club, with two party shows, one in Luz de Gas club in Barcelona and the other one in La Traviesa club in Torredembarra (Tarragona) For both concerts Lobos invited many friends and music colleagues who, during his long career, have played with him or were members of Lone Rhino Club Those two parties were recorded in two CDs and a DVD The actual Lone Rhino Club band members Héctor Martin on guitar, Josep Pasto Marti on bass and Nuria Perich on drums gave the right support for the outstanding Lobos’ piano, voice and harmonica, which totally delighted the audience with his special and unique commitment, feeling and passion, developing a repertoire with own songs and both black and white music, coming from legends like Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, Chuck Berry, Muddy Waters, Roy Brown, Little Richard, Hoagy Carmichael, Ron Wood or Tom Waits among others Along the shows Julio invited on stage twenty-two guest musicians who gave variety, a chromatic sound and a colourful atmosphere to each and every one of the songs that were played in a more than two hours concerts Julio Lobos’ amazing geniality and crude performing made him to firmly led both music parties, along such amazing passionate shows that dazzled the audience which crowded the two shows, always taking the main role of two unforgettable magical nights for all those who crowded both clubs (in my case Luz de Gas) Anyway, for those who did not have the chance to be present in one of two party shows and want to enjoy them as if you were there, you can now enjoy and delight yourself with this great box that will let you feel everything that happened in those two memorable nights of May 25th and 27th, 2018
